Few Common Mistakes that can Ruin Your Spa Time
People prefer a clean and good spa to de-stress their mind and body.
One of the most important things is to select good spa towels so that hygiene can be maintained. Many salons and spas make blunder while choosing their towel linens. Please see below few ideas to overcome those errors.
Using Harsh Chemicals
Mixing of different towels and using a single towel for various sections of your salon or spa for a whole day can ruin the towel within few usages. Towels appear patchy and their colours begin to fade. They eventually become useless after getting washed with harsh chemicals. Choosing Bleach free spa towels should be the priority when buying one.
Hair Coloring Spa Towels
The bleach-proof towel is the go-to towel here as well. According to market standards, one should buy a minimum 2 feet long hair colouring towels. Any towel of lesser size than this will not be of much use. A thick spa towel should be the preferred option as these towels have the tendency to shrink after wash.
Construction and Threading Quality of Towels
The standard of spa towels is directly proportional to the longevity of the towel. High quality and tightly woven towels will not lead to holes. A shrewd spa owner would choose thick and highest-quality linen. Low quality also means that the quantity of lint is highest. Towels become thinner soon if the lint quantity is more.
Shampooing and Drying
The bleach-proof towel is not a requirement here. The towel used here does not come in contact with harsh chemicals. Of course, a high-quality towel should be preferred. The low-quality towel will shrink. If the shrinkage exceeds two inches then the towel becomes useless. Other features like combed cotton, ring-spun-yarn and double hemming can increase the lifespan of your towels.
