Repurposing Old Towels

Feb 17th 2015

We’ve all come across a few towels that have become a little raggedy over time.

If you don’t want to throw them away, we’ve got some other alternatives to get the most out of your purchase.

  1. Cleaning Rag
There can almost never be enough cleaning rags kept around theThese are great to have as backups for that really big spill or when you don’t have time to do laundry.
  2. Picnic Blanket
This can be done by sewing together multiple towels. Using bath towels of complementary colors can create a nice look.
  3. Pet Shelter Donations
Pet shelters are always in need of supplies, and many times that includes towels! Check with your local shelters to see what they need.
  4. Dog Toy
An old towel can make for an excellent dog toy. Towels are tough and will last for much longer than a large majority of expensive store bought toys.
  5. Packing Material

Sometimes when packing, there are simply just extra air space that needs to be filled to prevent breakage. This is an unconventional method to packing boxes, but it works just as well!
